Model Portfolio

Cash Plus

The Cash Plus portfolio has a moderate risk. The target return is 2% to 3% p.a. Investors should be prepared to invest their assets for a period of 5 to 7 years. A minimum of 75% of all assets are invested in the reference currency. Assets are invested in money market funds, medium and long term bond funds, real estate funds, hedge funds and gold. No investments are made in alternative or structured products, equities other than property, futures, options and warrants, private equity, mines, metals, commodities other than gold. No leverage whatsoever is used.

Balanced portfolio

The balanced portfolio has a medium risk. The target return is 4% to 8% p.a. Investors should be prepared to invest their assets for a period of 7 to 10 years. A minimum of 50% of all assets are invested in the reference currency. Assets are invested in money market funds, real estate funds, medium and long term bond funds, mining funds, metals, commodity and equity funds. The portfolio can also contain investments in alternative products, hedge funds as well as private equity funds. The maximum equity component is set at 50% of the portfolio. No investments are made in structured products, futures, options and warrants. No leverage whatsoever is used.

Dynamic portfolio

The dynamic portfolio has a higher risk. The target return is over 8% p.a. Investors should be prepared to invest their assets for a period of over 10 years. A minimum of 25% of all assets are invested in the reference currency. Assets are invested in money market funds, real estate funds, medium and long term bond funds, mining funds, metals, commodity and equity funds. The portfolio can also contain investments in alternative products, hedge funds as well as private equity funds. The maximum equity component is set at 100% of the portfolio. No investments are made in structured products, futures, options and warrants. No leverage whatsoever is used.
